I wouldn't mind acquiring any of the guys you just mentioned, but I very strongly disagree that the Oil need a guy to replace Shawn Horcoff. He is a leader on this team and isn't going anywhere, regardless of his cap hit. He also fits very well as a 3rd line center. What we actually need is a top 6 C who has size, plays a good two-way game, and is physical. I know this proposal has nothing to do with the leafs, but (frank) it: Sam Gagner, Magnus Paajarvi, David Musil, a 2nd round pick, and my left nut to the Flyers for Sean Couturier. I'm not even joking when I say that after seeing how Yakupov fares in the NHL I would be open to trading him for Couturier+.

I agree completely that we lack star power upfront. We have decent players like grabovski, kulemin, macarthur and lupul is pretty good but not one actual superstar. Personally my favorite player to watch is jake gardiner he is the only one i see with super star potential and possibly morgan rielly

Seguin is so much better than kessel its not even funny. We're going to be last in the east. Maybe we get lucky enough to get 1st and finally get a stud like Mackinnon thats what im hoping for.

Tyler Seguin = Potential a Top 5 center in the NHL

Phil Kessel = A Top 30 goal scorer who has girl arms

Saying three Kessels are worth more than a Seguin is like saying Martin Gelinas, Jimmy Carson, three bad 1st round picks and $15mil are worth more than Gretzky.

Not really. He's big. He's got scoring touch. He'll definitely be a Top 6 player for the rest of his career. But I'm not sure if he's a star.

I hope your right, but I suspect the "Firing" had more to do with Burke NOT dealing for Luongo, and Nonis willing to. The body language today during the pressure when asked about Luongo spoke loud. Nonis dealt for Luongo once.

I bet Luongo is in Toronto by Monday or Tuesday. I do hope I am wrong though.
